Wafaa Sleiman (born 20 June 1952) is the First Lady of Lebanon (since 2008), the wife of President Michel Sleiman.
Wafaa Sleiman was born in Amsheet, Lebanon, on June 20, 1952. In 1970, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Education from the Teachers Training College, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the Lebanese University in 1973. She married Michel Sleiman in the same year. They have three children: Rita (born in 1975), Lara (born in 1978) and Charbel (born in 1983).
